Right before we left on vacation I had my week 3 weigh in. I thought I might not have seen the full weight loss at the previous weigh in due to being a bit bloated from my little surgery. Turns out I was right. Week 3 was a kick-butt weigh in with a loss of almost 7 lbs. bringing my total loss up to -14.6 lbs.
And opportunities have obstacles too. It was so hard to "eat on plan" when your cousins are all amazing cooks who created beautiful food for all of us. I tried to stick to my "3 bites of whatever" rule but I struggled. Who wants to turn down good, homemade fare? I wasn't perfect but wasn't horrible either. It appears that I managed to get through the vacation neither losing or gaining any weight. I'll take it! Hopefully I'll be able to eek out a small loss by the end of the week because I would like to keep the losing every week streak going.
